 BACKGROUND
Daiwa Associate Holdings Limited was established in 1979 and has been publicly listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited since 1994. Daiwa is a leading manufacturer and distributor of a wide variety of electronic components in Hong Kong.
In 1989, Mr. Herman Lau, the founder of this reputable company, set up Daiwa Holdings Inc. in Canada. After nineteen years of business development, Daiwa Canada has gained its reputation as one of the leading niche suppliers of computers and electronic components. Traded in the name of Daiwa Distribution Inc., it expands its business vertically from distribution to retail. It also positions itself as a value-added reseller of microcomputer business solutions provided to commercial corporations, government sectors and education institutions.
The product lines of Daiwa Canada range from major components such as notebooks, motherboards, video cards, monitors, storage devices, networking products, CPU's and memory to computer peripherals such as printers, scanners, digital cameras, MP3/4, keyboards and mouse. Today, Daiwa is the national distributor of Microsoft OEM, Pandex, MSI, ECS, Gnet, Thermaltake, Cooler Master, Seasonic, In-Win,
Arctic Cooling, Transcend, Transcend, Patriot, Belkin and HIS in Canada.
The year of 2004 definitely marks the milestone in the corporate development of Daiwa Canada. In September, Daiwa Holdings Inc. and subsidiaries were acquired by Daiwa Associate Holdings Limited and became member companies of the publicly listed Daiwa Group in Hong Kong. It is expected that both businesses and customers of Daiwa Canada will benefit from the advantages of closer vicinity to its Asian suppliers brought by and more resources made available by this corporate movement.

We are proud to have our own in-house Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) to provide high quality consultation on networking systems to our customers. We are also specialized in various kinds of network cabling designs.
